Senior Software Engineer

Location: Mexico City, MexicoWork Arrangement: Onsite for the first 1–2 weeks of onboarding, then remoteBuild software that helps solve complex legal challengesWe’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design, build, and maintain mission-critical software used by legal teams around the world.Our client is a global provider of AI-powered legal technology, eDiscovery, digital forensics, information governance, and data recovery solutions.

Its technology helps law firms, corporations, and government agencies navigate complex litigation, investigations, and compliance challenges.What You’ll DoDesign, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET and C#.Build and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and database performance.Write automated tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.Troubleshoot production issues and investigate problems across the application stack.Use AI-powered development tools daily for coding, testing, code review, and debugging, while validating their output.Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews.Mentor junior engineers and promote effective, responsible AI-assisted development practices.What We’re Looking For5+ years of professional software development experience with .NET/C#.Strong PostgreSQL experience, including schema design and query optimization.Experience building, maintaining, and scaling production systems.A strong commitment to automated testing and software quality.Proven experience troubleshooting live production incidents and driving issues to resolution.Daily experience with AI coding assistants or AI-powered development tools.Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across distributed teams.
