Senior Software Engineer

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – C2 / C4I & Air Defense SystemsJob Summary:We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test software solutions for Command and Control (C2), C4I, and Air Defense systems.

The role involves developing secure, high-quality software, supporting system integration and testing, troubleshooting technical issues, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test software components using Java and/or C++.Integrate software with sensors, data links, and external systems.Develop automated tests and support CI/CD processes.Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical documentation.Troubleshoot defects and support system acceptance testing.Collaborate with cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.6–7 years of software development experience, including 2–3 years in Defense, C2/C4I, Air Defense, or other mission-critical systems.Strong programming skills in Java and/or C++.Experience with system integration, networking protocols, databases, and software testing.Familiarity with Linux, Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
