Scientific Systems is looking to fill a Senior Software Engineer position in the domain of Autonomous Vehicles and Uncrewed Systems. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing software for advanced AI/ML programs relating to autonomous flight systems and crewed-uncrewed collaboration.Essential Functions:Architect and develop advanced software for multi-vehicle autonomy for complex, contested environmentsProvide relevant technical expertise as part of a team to design, implement, and test autonomy software systems for embedded uncrewed multi-vehicle autonomy. Support presentation of technical results to internal and external customersSupport integration of existing work into an unified software architectureThis role may require occasional travel to remote test eventsMust be able to obtain and maintain a United States DOD Security ClearanceRequirementsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Math, Statistics, Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, Data Science4+ years of experience in software development/R&D of AI for Robotics, Machine Learning, Robot Planning/Optimization Techniques, and/or Autonomous Uncrewed Systems SoftwareExperience developing modular, maintainable, production-quality autonomy softwareExperience developing using C/C++, Python, and (optional but desired) relevant memory-safe languages.
