Senior Software Engineer II - Mission Solutions

SSCI Solutions Division is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to support software development and test its AI-powered, autonomy software. The successful applicant will be responsible for working with a team to develop software for advanced robotics programs relating to autonomous flight systems and swarm collaboration. The position will also be responsible for building simulation environments for demonstration and testing of autonomous software.Essential Functions:Develop advanced software for multi-vehicle autonomy for complex, contested environmentsProvide relevant technical expertise as part of a team to design, implement, and test autonomy software systems for embedded uncrewed multi-vehicle autonomy. Develop and run simulations for autonomous softwareSupport presentation of technical results to internal and external customersSupport other company initiatives and programsThis role may require periodic travelMust be able to obtain and maintain a US DOD Security ClearanceRequirementsBasic Skills:Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Software Engineering, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Physical Science, Operations Research, or Data Science5+ years of experience with modern C++, CMake, Git and software practices including dockerized development, CI/CD workflows.
