The role covers UI, secure APIs, event-driven integration, deployment, and production support.Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Spring Boot microservices: REST APIs, business services, data access, and security.
- Develop responsive React/TypeScript UIs with reusable components and Redux/Context API state.
- Deploy and run services on AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM) via Docker and CI/CD.
- Implement event-driven messaging with Apache Kafka and AWS SNS/SQS.
- Write production-ready code with unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito, frontend frameworks).
- Troubleshoot production issues, ensuring reliability, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Join Agile ceremonies and code reviews; use AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) within security standards.Required Technical Skills
- Core Java: OOP, multithreading, concurrency, collections, JVM fundamentals.
- Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, microservices, and secure REST API design.
- Hands-on AWS: EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, SNS, SQS; Docker.
- React.js (Hooks, Redux, Context API), TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
- SQL data modelling and query tuning on MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Git, CI/CD pipelines, and JWT-based authentication/authorisation.Candidate Profile
- 5–8 years in full-stack engineering, with Java/Spring Boot as the primary backend.
- Proven production delivery on AWS, not only sandbox builds.
- Owns features end to end, from UI through API, data, and deployment.
