Backend to design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient, and high-performance backend applications.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and distributed systems.The role also involves production ownership, incident management, system reliability, performance optimization, and collaboration with architects and cross-functional engineering teams.Must-Have Skills8+ years of experience in Java Backend Development Strong expertise in Java (11/17+) Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot Experience with Spring Data JPA and Hibernate Strong understanding of Microservices architecture Experience developing secure and high-performance REST APIs Strong knowledge of System Design and distributed systems Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms Strong hands-on experience with SQL Experience with PostgreSQL and/or other relational databases Good understanding of NoSQL databases Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP Hands-on experience with Docker Experience with Kubernetes / OpenShift Experience with Helm Strong understanding of JRE/JDK Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices Experience managing production deployments and releases Experience handling production incidents, including discussions Develop solutions that meet requirements for scalability, availability, performance, and security Database & Data SolutionsDesign and optimize data solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases Develop efficient SQL queries and database interactions Work with technologies such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, etc. Optimize database and application performance Cloud & ContainerizationDeploy and manage applications across AWS, Azure, or GCP Containerize applications using Docker Deploy and operate applications using Kubernetes/OpenShift Work with Helm for application packaging and deployment Support cloud-native application environments CI/CD & DevOpsBuild and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines Implement automated testing and code-quality practices incidents within defined SLAs Handle critical Sev1/Sev2 incidents Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews Drive preventive and corrective actions to improve system reliability Monitor application health, performance, and availability Engineering & CollaborationConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical growth within the team Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders Contribute to technical documentation, operational runbooks, and architecture reviews
