Senior Software Engineer – Java/Microservices (Cloud & GenAI)

Role DescriptionThis is an on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer (Java/Microservices – Cloud & GenAI), based in Phoenix, AZ. The responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, building and integrating RESTful APIs across distributed systems, and deploying and managing services on cloud platforms (GCP preferred). The engineer will implement event-driven architectures using Kafka, manage relational and NoSQL data stores, and apply AI/ML and GenAI techniques — including LLM integration — using Python and TensorFlow/Vertex AI. Additional responsibilities include maintaining CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver production-grade, cloud-native solutions. Qualifications5+ years of software engineering experience.Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and API development.Experience with microservice-based architecture.Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Vertex AI, Kafka, RDBMS, and NoSQL databases.Proficiency with build/versioning tools: Maven, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD.Python programming for AI/ML workflows.Experience with TensorFlow, LLMs, and GenAI applications.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into scalable business solutions.*Role must be 3 days in-person at the Phoenix office.
