They're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build modern cloud-based applications whilst playing an active role in introducing AI into their products and development processes.It's a senior engineering position where you'll spend most of your time designing, building and delivering scalable software using C# and .NET, whilst having the opportunity to explore and implement technologies such as LLMs, Agentic AI and Machine Learning where they can genuinely add value.If you're already experimenting with AI, building side projects, integrating LLMs into applications or simply passionate about where software engineering is heading, we'd love to hear from you.What you'll be doingDesigning, developing and maintaining modern .NET applications.Building scalable APIs and cloud-native services.Working across the full software development lifecycle within an Agile environment.Collaborating with Product, Architecture and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.Exploring opportunities to introduce AI into products, internal tooling and engineering workflows.Contributing to architecture, code reviews and technical decision making.Mentoring junior engineers and helping drive engineering best practice.What we're looking forStrong commercial experience developing enterprise applications using C# and .NET.Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing and optimising queries, stored procedures and database objects.Commercial experience building cloud-based applications on Microsoft Azure, ideally including Azure Functions, Azure Storage and Service Bus.A solid understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design and building scalable, maintainable applications.Experience working with Git, Azure DevOps and modern CI/CD practices.The ability to mentor and support other developers through code reviews, technical guidance and knowledge sharing.Comfortable working across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and technical design through to deployment and support.An interest in modern AI technologies such as LLMs, Agentic AI or Machine Learning, with either commercial experience or personal projects demonstrating how AI can improve products or engineering workflows.A collaborative approach with the confidence to contribute ideas, challenge technical decisions constructively and work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Nice to haveExperience with Blazor and/or MAUI.Exposure to eCommerce, enterprise SaaS or customer-facing digital platforms.Experience integrating AI services or LLMs into commercial applications.Knowledge of Agentic AI, Semantic Kernel, LangChain or similar orchestration frameworks.Experience with Python for automation, AI or machine learning projects.Exposure to Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI or Microsoft AI tooling.Experience improving engineering processes, introducing automation or mentoring development teams.A genuine curiosity for emerging technologies and a desire to help shape how AI is adopted within modern software engineering.This is an opportunity to join a business at an exciting point in its technology journey.
