Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

Employment Type: Full-timeWorkplace: On-siteExperience: 4+ yearsAbout the RoleiSpace is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (.NET) to join our engineering team and work across backend and frontend development for enterprise and client-facing software solutions.The role requires strong hands-on experience with .NET, APIs, databases, and modern web technologies, with the ability to take ownership of solution design, development, integrations, code quality, and production support.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using .NET technologies.Develop RESTful APIs, backend services, and system integrations.Build and maintain frontend features using modern JavaScript frameworks.Design and optimize SQL Server databases and queries.Integrate applications with third-party APIs, authentication services, and external platforms.Participate in solution design and technical architecture decisions.Review code and maintain engineering standards and best practices.Troubleshoot application, performance, and production issues.Work closely with QA, DevOps, UI/UX, Project Management, and other engineering teams.Support technical estimation and requirement analysis.Mentor and support other developers when required.Must-have Qualifications4+ years of professional software development experience.Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET / ASP.NET Core, and Web API.Strong experience with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean code principles.Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.Hands-on frontend development experience using Angular, React, Next.js or similar modern frameworks.Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.Experience with authentication and authorization such as JWT, OAuth, or SSO.Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.Good understanding of Git and CI/CD workflows.Experience working with production applications.Good command of English.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Clean Architecture, DDD, CQRS, or similar architectural approaches.Experience with Azure or AWS.Experience with Docker and containerized applications.Experience with enterprise integrations and third-party systems.Experience with Redis, background jobs, messaging, or caching technologies.Familiarity with automated testing and code-quality practices.Previous experience in a software house, SaaS company, or system integrator.Experience mentoring developers or contributing to technical architecture decisions.What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is technically strong, hands-on, responsible for the quality of their work, and comfortable contributing across both backend and frontend development.
