Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

Concord sits at the center of the credit market ecosystem. We provide loan servicing, backup servicing, and capital markets administration for specialty finance lenders, institutional investors, and asset managers. Our clients include originators across fintech, solar, home improvement, equipment finance, and other specialty asset classes. When a lender needs a trusted partner to service their portfolio or a trustee needs real-time reporting, they call Concord.We're hiring a Senior .NET Software Engineer to design, build and maintain the financial applications our business users rely on every day, working across SQL Server, Snowflake and cloud services.You'll join a small, senior-leaning team that owns the core applications behind a financial services business. The work is varied: new features on modern .NET services, integrations with internal and third-party systems, and data pipelines feeding analytics. You'll work with Product, Compliance, Security and Data partners, have direct access to the business users you build for, and shape how we design, test and ship.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain applications and APIs in C# on .NET (ASP.NET Core, Web API, background services)Write testable, well-documented code and review peers' work against agreed standardsLead technical design for multi-component features and mentor other engineersBuild and maintain integrations with internal and third-party systems through APIs and messagingOwn features end to end: refine requirements with business partners, estimate, build, test, deploy and support in productionCollaborate with Product, Compliance, Security and Data teams to translate business and regulatory requirements into technical solutionsImplement security practices that protect sensitive financial data (encryption, authentication, authorization)Apply regulatory and audit requirements, such as data retention and access controls, in system designTroubleshoot production issues, find root causes, and fix the underlying problem rather than the symptomsKeep current with security trends and emerging technologies, and recommend what is worth adoptingRequirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience7+ years of professional software development, with C# and .NET as your primary stackHands-on experience with ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, Entity Framework or Dapper, and dependency injectionStrong SQL Server skills, including database design, query tuning and indexingExperience with automated testing (xUnit, NUnit or similar)Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologiesWorking knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScriptAbility to explain a technical trade-off to a non-technical audience and turn business rules into working softwareA track record of diagnosing and fixing hard problems in production systems, with careful attention to data accuracyLanguage requirements: fluent EnglishNice to HaveCloud experience (Azure or AWS), including containers, serverless functions or infrastructure as codeTypeScript experience, including front-end frameworks or Node.js toolingBlazor, Angular or React for front-end workMessaging and integration patterns (queues, event-driven design, SFTP and batch file processing)Experience with Snowflake, ETL/ELT tooling or other data warehouse workExperience in lending, banking, payments, insurance or investment systemsA background in operations or another business function, which helps you understand the problems we solveBenefitsGrocery Vouchers Internet BonusMedical InsuranceLife InsuranceDental InsuranceLaw Benefits
