The role demands hands-on ownership of Pentaho Data Integration on Oracle-backed pipelines, with active support for production stability and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities Design, develop and manage ETL workflows on Pentaho Data Integration (Enterprise Edition). Implement complex integration requirements including data cleansing, validation and transformation logic. Diagnose workflow failures, perform root cause analysis and ship durable fixes under operational SLAs. Analyse source and target data discrepancies and publish reconciliation outcomes to stakeholders. Monitor data infrastructure for performance and reliability and address issues proactively. Document data pipelines, processes and best practices to enable knowledge sharing across teams. Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Pentaho Enterprise Edition — develop and manage — including Spoon, Kitchen and Pan. Mandatory Oracle database experience and proven handling of flat files and databases as sources and targets. Proficiency in designing and optimising ETL workflows, with modular, reusable component design. Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills, including query optimisation and bulk data processing techniques. Experience integrating Pentaho with multiple data sources including databases, flat files, XML, JSON and APIs. Strong analytical, debugging and stakeholder communication skills in fast-moving delivery environments.
