Senior Software Engineer Project Lead

This role is responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of backend services and core platform features that power Stitch®’s AI-driven customer engagement solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting scalable systems, writing clean and maintainable code, reviewing the work of other engineers, and ensuring software quality through testing and best practices. The Project Lead will coordinate with product managers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, while managing project timelines and deliverables. This role also involves mentoring junior engineers, improving development processes, and contributing to strategic technical decisions.Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.Proficiency in Software Development and Back-End Web Development, with experience building scalable and secure services.Advanced Programming skills and hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and patterns.Proven experience leading engineering projects, including planning, execution, and delivery in a collaborative environment.Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, relational and/or NoSQL databases, and modern development tools.Experience working with or integrating AI/ML-driven products is a plus.Ability to write clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
