This platform brings together large volumes of customer data, turning it into reliable, real-time insights that power personalised experiences across multiple channels.You’ll take technical ownership of a distributed engineering team, balancing software development, technical decision-making, mentorship and delivery.What you’ll be doingLead by example through hands-on backend developmentSupport and mentor engineers across a remote environmentTurn business and user requirements into clear technical deliverablesWork closely with Product, Architecture and Technical LeadershipOwn day-to-day execution, helping the team deliver consistentlyMaintain strong standards around code quality, testing and maintainabilityContribute to the design of scalable, distributed systemsGuide the development and operation of applications running on KubernetesImprove engineering practices, communication and ownership across the teamWhat we’re looking forStrong experience building modern backend systemsPrevious experience leading or mentoring software engineersKnowledge of distributed architectures, APIs and system integrationsPractical experience with containerised applications and KubernetesConfidence balancing delivery speed, technical quality and business impactClear communication and experience collaborating across technical and product teamsA pragmatic mindset.
