Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Our Dublin based client are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer to join their team in a permanent roleThe client have an office based in South Dublin and the role will be performed on a hybrid working model, 2 days per week on siteThe company operates on a global scale and have an office in Dublin with a strong and growing teamYou will be working as part of a collaborative team driving test automation and leveraging AI-powered solutions to ensure software quality and overall project deliveryResponsibilities: Use AI-powered tools to accelerate test generation, automation script development, and step definition creation.Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks to improve scalability, accuracy, and maintenanceImplement machine learning techniques and data analysis to identify high-risk areasGuide tests, and prioritize the overall QA coverage.Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to integrate code analysis, test selection, and failure prediction modelsWork with the development team and quality teams to define and evolve strategies for quality assuranceEvaluate and introduce AI-based testing tools to reduce older testing models and improve cycles.Monitor and maintain automation coverage using AI tools to detect gaps, outdated tests, and potential redundancies in the test suite.Required experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related degree5+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and automation testingProven ability to develop and execute automated test scriptsBe capable of using tools like Cypress and PlaywrightHave hands-on experience testing across iOS and Android platforms, and integrating with AWS-based environmentsExperience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks in JavaScript or PythonFamiliarity with mobile test automation tools and platforms such as UI Testing, UI Automator (Android), and experience testing on both Android and iOS devicesStrong knowledge of REST API testing with tools like Rest Assured and JMeterHands-on experience with cloud-based architectures, including microservices, multitenancy, and batch servicesProficiency in AWS and CI tools such as GitHub Actions or similarHOW TO APPLY:To apply for this role, please submit your updated CV.
