Senior Solutions Architect
ALPHA10X · Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Apply & track with Apply EdgeCompany Information: ALPHA10X is an award-winning, AI-native Decision Intelligence platform built for private markets - a market projected to exceed $65 trillion in AUM by 2032, but one in which investment decisions remain constrained by fragmented data, subjective judgment and limited predictive infrastructure. At its core is ALPHAcodex, a governed reasoning system that combines data, inference, institutional memory and continuous learning to generate quantitative signals and probabilistic foresight. The platform is designed to improve underwriting and capital allocation over time: each decision becomes institutional memory, strengthening the intelligence applied to subsequent decisions and creating the potential for a compounding advantage in judgment, conviction and investment performance.Founded in France, ALPHA10X has progressively shifted its center of gravity to the Middle East as the region has become increasingly important to global capital allocation. The company is establishing its global headquarters and principal operating hub in Doha, providing a strategic base for product development, commercial expansion and global growth.ALPHA10X has raised $25 million in seed capital from prominent investors and academics and completed more than 70 engagements across 11 countries. The company is now entering its next phase of scale, strengthening leadership, accelerating R&D, building its Doha organization and expanding institutional market penetration ahead of a planned Series A financing. The Senior Solutions Architect is the technical lead of our client engagement in Doha. Working alongside our Head of Engineering and Head of Solutions, you will own how our platform is designed, integrated, secured and delivered for the client: from the first technical discovery sessions to a production platform in use by the client and its first member organisations. You are the person the client’s technical stakeholders call first, and the person our engineers in Doha look to for direction day to day. You translate what the client needs into a design that builds on our core product, and you are accountable for whether it is buildable, secure, on time and working. This is a hands-on senior role: you will not write most of the code, but you will prototype, review designs and code, and make the technical calls that keep delivery moving. The successful candidate will be someone who takes initiative, stays curious and has an unrelenting drive to push the boundaries of AI and software engineering. They will be adaptive and introspective: willing to learn, guide, lead and follow, with the low ego of someone for whom the outcome matters more than who gets the credit.
Key Responsibilities
· Technical Discovery & Proofs of Concept: Lead the technical side of discovery with the client. Run the data and infrastructure audit, including the systems that supply data. Establish security and hosting constraints. Assess the technical feasibility of each prioritised use case. Prove the most complex technical components on the client’s own data early. Turn what you learn into documented technical requirements. The expectation is that the scope rests on evidence rather than assumption.
- Solution & Platform Architecture: Own the technical design of the solution on our core platform. Own the architecture, data flows, integrations, security and hosting of the solution. Design how the client’s use cases run on our platform: the Ledger and its APIs, our agentic decision workflows (including the research workflow), and our Azure, Databricks and Elasticsearch stack. Settle open architecture questions through short technical spikes rather than long debate. Co-sign the solution definition with the Head of Solutions, confirming that it answers the requirement and that it is buildable, before any build commitment is made. Nothing is committed to the client until it has been confirmed as buildable.
- Data & Integration Architecture: With our Data team, design how data enters, is modelled in and connects to the platform. Design how the client’s data and new sector-specific sources are integrated, modelled in our ontology and field catalog, and kept reliable. Own integration with the client’s systems that supply data. Own the partner gateway / API through which member organisations connect. Define how a member organisation’s proprietary data connects to the platform without being exposed to others. Every source and every member connects through one coherent data and integration design.
- Security, Hosting & Governance: Design the hosting, access and data-isolation model for a platform we operate as a managed service. Host in-region where data sovereignty requires it. Own the security review. Own the separation of client and member data, and the audit trail. Security and data isolation are designed in from the start, not added at the end.
- Delivery Leadership: Lead the Doha engineering team day to day, through to go-live. Set technical direction and break the design into sprints. Review code and designs and unblock issues. Hold the scope agreed at design. Own environment readiness and the technical side of go-live and handover to steady-state operation. You are accountable for whether the solution is delivered on time and working, not only for its design.
- Estimation & Change Control: Keep scope, effort and risk visible throughout the engagement. Estimate effort and capacity for each phase. Flag technical risks early (data readiness, licences, third-party AI service limits). Assess the technical impact of every change request. Scope changes are decided, not absorbed.
- Client Technical Relationship: Be the main technical counterpart for the client’s IT, security and data teams. Explain technical trade-offs clearly to non-technical decisionmakers. Push back when a request would put quality, security or timelines at risk. The role requires someone who is trusted by the client and willing to say no when it matters.
- Reusable Assets: Turn each engagement into reusable technical assets. Build reference architectures, integration patterns, security and hosting templates, and deployment runbooks. The next deployment should be faster and cheaper than this one. What Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role will be visible in a platform the client runs in production, delivered as agreed.· Within the first 30 days, the Senior Solutions Architect will have:o been onboarded on our platform, architecture and team;o led the data and infrastructure audit and the hosting and data-sovereignty assessment with the client; and mapped the technical stakeholders and data owners.· Within the first 60 days, the Senior Solutions Architect will have:o proven the complex technical components on the client’s data;o agreed with the client the technical requirements, the six-month scope and the infrastructure the solution will be built and run on; ando got design underway, with open architecture questions settled through spikes.· Within the first 6 months, the Senior Solutions Architect will have:o signed off the architecture, data, security and integration design;o delivered the platform within the agreed scope, running in production for the client and its first member organisations; ando put data isolation, an audit trail and a support model in place. What We Are Looking ForThis role requires a combination of architectural depth, delivery ownership and credibility with senior client stakeholders. We are looking for someone who:
- Has a Master’s degree (minimum) in computer science, engineering or a related field.
- Has 7+ years in software or data engineering, including 4+ years as a solutions or technical architect on client-facing delivery of data or AI platforms.
- Can point to at least one data or AI platform they architected and took to production for an external client and explain the trade-offs they made.
- Has deep Azure architecture experience (networking, identity, security, hosting, cost) and is hands-on with modern data platforms such as Databricks and Azure Data Factory, and with search (Elasticsearch or equivalent).
- Has a solid understanding of how LLM-based and agentic systems are built, evaluated and operated in production (RAG, tool use, evaluation, cost and latency), enough to design around them and challenge the engineers who build them.
- Has experience in data modelling for knowledge graphs or ontologies, entity resolution, and integration of third-party and client data.
- Has designed for multi-tenancy, data isolation, access control, audit and data-residency requirements in regulated or government environments.
- Is strong in API and integration design and can prototype in Python or TypeScript and review production code.
- Is accountable for whether the solution works, not only for the design.
- Communicates clearly with both engineers and senior non-technical stakeholders, in writing and in the room.
- Is comfortable leading engineers, including contractors, without always having formal authority.
- Is structured under ambiguity: can take an open request and turn it into a clear technical plan.
- Is comfortable being on site as part of a small team, working closely with R&D teams in France.Experience in the GCC or with government and institutional clients, Arabic, energy, sustainability or financial data, or forward-deployed or embedded delivery models would be valuable. However, a track record of taking platforms to production for demanding clients matters more than a particular career path. Our Tech StackWhat you will work with day to day:
