We sell to semiconductor equipment makers, OSATs and fabs.The RoleYou are the technical presence in front of our customers — running demos, designing and executing POCs, building integrations, and taking pilots into production. You will bring what you learn in the field back into the roadmap. You will work closely with the leadership, engineering and the AI team, with broad autonomy and real influence on what we build next. We are open on level: this is a role where two to three years of the right hands-on experience counts as much as ten.What You Will DoPre-Sales & Technical Evangelism•    Support the technical sales cycle for enterprise accounts: discovery, requirements mapping, live demos, POC design and proposal writing — owning it end to end as you ramp•    Deliver product demonstrations tailored to process and equipment engineers, data scientists, and executive buyers•    Build and maintain ROI models, competitive battlecards and technical comparison material against incumbent analytics tools and in-house builds•    Represent ThirdAI at industry conferences and ecosystem events (SEMICON, APC/AEC and similar)Deployment & Customer Engineering•    Run pilot deployments — data onboarding, model validation and expert sign-off•    Design integration architectures connecting the platform to enterprise data sources: equipment and tool logs, MES, SPC and metrology systems, historians, and ticketing systems such as Jira, SAP or ServiceNow•    Build and run evaluation frameworks: A/B studies, expert win-rate assessments, and MTTR / cycle-time benchmarks•    Support the transition from pilot to production across on-prem, hybrid and air-gapped environments•    Prepare and run business reviews with accounts to track KPIs, surface expansion opportunities and support renewalsProduct Feedback & Roadmap Influence•    Act as the voice of the field: translate deployment observations into prioritized product requirements•    Co-author PRDs and integration guides with the engineering team•    Identify patterns across accounts that point to platform improvements and packaging decisionsTechnical Content•    Produce technical white papers, anonymized case studies and solution briefs documenting deployment outcomes•    Develop RFP response templates and reusable technical collateral for recurring scenariosWhat We Are Looking ForMust-Have•    Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science or a related technical field•    2+ years in a technical customer-facing role — solutions engineering, sales engineering, technical account management, consulting or deployment engineering — in enterprise software or AI/ML•    Hands-on with Python and data: works in notebooks, interprets model outputs and debugs data pipelines on site•    Comfortable in front of customers — can hold a technical conversation with a process engineer and stay clear in front of their leadership•    Curious and self-directed: happy owning an unfamiliar problem in a customer environment with limited hand-holding•    Willing to travel 30–40% to customer sites (US domestic, occasional international)Strong Plus•    Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing, process control, equipment engineering or fab operations•    Familiarity with yield management, SPC or MES platforms•    Background in causal AI, anomaly detection or predictive maintenance•    Experience deploying software into operationally critical or regulated enterprise environments•    Startup experience owning a broad mandate with limited resources•    On-prem or air-gapped deployment experience (Linux, VMware, Kubernetes)•    Track record of winning competitive POCsWhy This Role Is Different•    High autonomy and direct leadership access — your work shapes both customer outcomes and product direction•    Customer-facing scope most engineers your level never get: live accounts, executive rooms, conference talks•    You will learn causal AI and semiconductor manufacturing at the same time, from the people building both•    Room to grow into senior solutions engineering leadership as the team scalesApply: jobs@thirdaiautomation.com · www.thirdaiautomation.com
