We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Specialist, Credit Control. reporting to the Manager, Credit Control. This full-time and permanent position is based in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru or Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Order to Cash function and its’ growth. Key responsibilities: Main Duties Monitor accounts receivable ageing and proactively follow up on overdue balances to support effective credit control Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve billing and payment discrepancies and ensure timely collections Review customer accounts, support credit limit assessments, and escalate high-risk or long-outstanding balances Perform reconciliations of customer accounts, AR ledger, and bank transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness Support month-end close activities related to receivables, including reconciliations and reporting Work closely with accounting teams and overseas offices to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Ensure transactions comply with group policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements Maintain proper documentation to support audit and compliance requirements Identify process improvements and control enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy Support global service delivery standards and contribute to system and process improvements (e.g. SAP) Undertake ad hoc projects and support global finance initiatives Perform reconciliations of customer accounts, AR ledgers, and bank transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness. Support month-end closing activities related to receivables, including reconciliations and reporting. Undertake ad hoc project and task as needed by the business Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Some relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, cash application, customer service, or finance operations would be an advantage Experience in Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, payment allocation, ageing review, and customer follow-up Computer proficiency in MS Office/ Excel Applications and ERP system Strong problem solving and communication skills Must possess good customer service skills. Able to work under pressure in meeting deadlines. Hardworking. Results-oriented and detail-minded person. Highly motivated with ability to work effectively and independently in a dynamic and evolving environment and consistently deliver outcome.
