Job PurposeTest and evaluate emerging technologies through Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives within the Fourth Industrial Revolution Lab, supporting RTA’s mission to build internal digital innovation capabilities, roll out disruptive solutions, and keep Dubai ahead of the innovation curve while ensuring secure, sustainable, and strategic technology adoption. .Roles and Responsibilities:Strategy Develop and manage the technology testing platform to ensure sustainability and strategic alignment of emerging technology experimentation with RTA’s digital transformation roadmap.Identify and evaluate new technologies for PoC trials, contributing to RTA’s innovation and partnership mission to drive disruptive, business-enabling solutions. Stay current with technology trends, recommending opportunities to enhance RTA’s competitive advantage through targeted PoC development.OperationsOversee PoC testing for technologies such as AI, blockchain, IoT, and cloud, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term adoption plans. Coordinate with engineers and product developers to define PoC goals and integrate validated results into future technology rollouts. Analyse the technical and practical feasibility of new technologies in real-world environments, identifying challenges and mitigation actions early. Document PoC outcomes, preparing reports and presentations for senior management decision-making. Ensure strict compliance with RTA’s information security policies, data sharing guidelines, and incident reporting standards during PoC execution. Product/Process ImprovementDesign and manage outsourcing, vendor/consultant selection, SLA governance, and contract-monitoring mechanisms beyond investment-space services.Implement data-driven approaches for project scheduling, financial forecasting, and service efficiency improvements.Leverage KPIs and dashboards for monitoring investment-space performance and administrative service delivery.Introduce innovation in administrative systems through digital platforms, sustainability practices, and automation of service workflows.Oversee audits, feasibility studies, and compliance assessments for buildings, parking, and operational costs, recommending corrective actions and enhancements.Physical Working ConditionsManage prototypes and simulations to demonstrate the capabilities of new technologies for transport challenges and systems enhancement. Recommend process improvements and knowledge-sharing initiatives to promote a culture of continuous digital innovation across RTA. Support integration strategies to transition successful PoCs into sustainable, scalable solutions within RTA’s architecture.Job Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree/ master’s degree in information technology or computer science engineering Experience: 6+ years in case of master’s degree (8+ years in case of bachelor’s degree) in related field
