Senior Specialist - Investors & Market Engagement

Note: This role is based in Abu Dhabi and requires you to be in the office 5 days a week. Please DON'T apply if you are not able to do this.I'm hiring a Senior Specialist – Investors & Market Engagement to support the growth of one of the UAE's leading capital markets organisations. This is a highly commercial, relationship-focused role centred on developing new business, strengthening relationships with investors and market participants, and increasing engagement across the financial markets ecosystem.You'll work closely with institutional investors, brokers, asset managers, financial institutions, family offices, and other key market participants to support investor acquisition, increase market activity, and contribute to the continued development of the exchange.What you'll be doing: • Develop and grow relationships with institutional investors, brokers, asset managers, financial institutions, family offices, and other market participants • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase investor participation and market activity • Support the acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention of investors and market participants • Promote the organisation's products, services, and market initiatives to existing and prospective clients • Conduct regular client meetings and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the UAE and GCC financial markets community • Support investor engagement initiatives including conferences, roadshows, networking events, and industry meetings • Gather market intelligence, investor feedback, and competitor insights to identify new commercial opportunities • Work closely with internal teams including Product, Marketing, Compliance, and Business Development to improve the overall client experience • Track client activity, business development pipelines, engagement levels, and commercial KPIs • Support the Manager and wider team in delivering strategic market development and investor engagement initiativesWhat we're looking for: • 6-10 years' experience in Business Development, Institutional Sales, Relationship Management, Capital Markets, or a similar client-facing financial services role • Experience gained within a stock exchange, brokerage, investment bank, asset manager, bank, financial markets infrastructure provider, or related financial services organisation • Strong understanding of capital markets and the wider financial markets ecosystem • Proven experience developing new business, managing client relationships, and working towards commercial targets • Exposure to institutional investors, brokers, financial institutions, asset managers, family offices, HNW clients, or other professional market participants • Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills • Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable identifying and pursuing new opportunities • Existing relationships across the UAE/GCC financial services community are highly advantageous • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline • Fluency in Arabic & EnglishNice to have: • Experience within institutional brokerage, securities, asset management, wealth management, or financial markets sales • Exposure to exchange products, equities, fixed income, trading platforms, market data, or capital markets technology • Experience working with market makers, custodians, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, or family offices • Professional qualifications such as CFA, CISI, or equivalentWhy join? • Join a highly respected organisation at the centre of the UAE's capital markets ecosystem • Build relationships with some of the region's leading investors and financial institutions • Gain exposure to a broad range of market participants and capital markets initiatives • Join a collaborative, high-performing team with strong long-term career progression • Make a tangible commercial impact while contributing to the continued development of the UAE's financial marketsIf you're a commercially minded financial markets professional who enjoys developing new business, building long-term client relationships, and engaging with investors and market participants, I'd love to speak with you!
