Senior Specialist - Structures (Mandarin Required) - MBS Stadium

Role OverviewWe are seeking a Media Facade Engineer to support the design, coordination, construction, and commissioning of architecturally integrated LED display systems and media facade solutions for the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium.The successful candidate will act as a key technical liaison between LED manufacturers, facade contractors, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration of media technology within the stadium facade and building systems.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary liaison between LED manufacturers, facade contractors, architects, and other project disciplines throughout design development, construction, and commissioning phasesSupport the planning and delivery of multidisciplinary engineering and design workshopsParticipate in drawing reviews and approval processes across facade, structural, electrical, IT, and AV disciplinesAssist with regulatory approvals, inspections, material reviews, and testing activitiesCoordinate with the Management Contractor and project teams to support site activities involving facade fabricators, specialist contractors, and structural engineersEnsure successful integration of media facade systems, including mounting structures, cabling pathways, power distribution, and data infrastructureSupport the testing, commissioning, and handover of complex media distribution and content management systemsFacilitate communication between contractors, consultants, vendors, and client stakeholdersAssist in the preparation and management of project documentation, training programs, and operational readiness activitiesMonitor progress and identify potential coordination issues, supporting timely resolution across disciplinesParticipate in international workshops, factory inspections, and material reviews as requiredRequired QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Architecture, Facade Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related disciplineExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in facade engineering, unitized curtain wall systems, architectural lighting integration, or related fieldsExperience coordinating multidisciplinary design and construction teams on large-scale projectsFamiliarity with facade systems, LED display technologies, and building integration requirementsKnowledge of the Saudi Building Code is preferredTechnical SkillsProficiency in Autodesk Revit (BIM), Rhino, and AutoCADExperience with parametric design tools such as GrasshopperFamiliarity with electrical, low-current, AV, and media distribution systemsStrong understanding of construction documentation, coordination, and commissioning processesLanguagesExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsStrong technical Mandarin language proficiency is requiredAdditional RequirementsWillingness and ability to travel internationally for design workshops, factory inspections, and material testing activitiesStrong stakeholder management and coordination skillsAbility to work within multidisciplinary project environments and manage multiple interfaces simultaneously
