Position : Senior Specialist – Vessels & ContainersLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAEType: Full-timeJoin our Commercial Division as a Senior Specialist – Vessels & Containers, responsible for managing vessel chartering, vessel and container tenders, freight negotiations, and shipping strategies to ensure cost-effective, timely, and risk-managed transportation.Key Responsibilities:Lead negotiations with vessel owners, brokers, charterers, and shipping lines.Manage vessel nominations, fixtures, laycan, and long-term charter agreements.Manage import/export container tenders and negotiate rates and capacity.Monitor freight markets and provide vessel/container cost budgets.Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and external shipping partners.Support demurrage negotiations, cost modelling, and risk management.Provide regular updates on vessel schedules, nominations, freight rates, and potential risks.What We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Shipping & Logistics qualification is preferred.6+ years of experience in vessel chartering, container logistics, or commercial shipping, preferably with bulk/breakbulk cargo.Strong negotiation, influencing, commercial, and risk-management skills.Excellent English and Arabic communication skills.
