Senior / Staff-level Cloud Platform Engineer

Kadence Talent is partnered with a Life Sciences Group in SF, looking for a Senior or Staff-level Cloud Platform Engineer, 4 days per week in-office, South San Fran.This hire will be brought in to build the next generation of ML infrastructure for a cutting-edge scientific R&D organization.You’ll own the GCP platform and help researchers train and deploy frontier ML models at scale, including:

• GCP architecture and Terraform
• GKE administration for GPU/TPU workloads
• Secure cloud environments and automated guardrails
• Developer “paved paths” and platform migrations
• Compute capacity, observability and FinOpsWe’re looking for strong Python, Kubernetes, IaC and CI/CD experience. Experience supporting ML or HPC workloads is highly valuable, but no biology background is required.

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, four days onsiteCompensation: $220k–$290k base + two annual cash bonuses
