With partnerships with over 100 schools across India, STEMx delivers in-school STEM programs covering Robotics, Coding, 3D Printing, Electronics, and Drones. The founders have spent more than seven years collaborating with parents, teachers, schools, and governments to create engaging STEM learning experiences for students.Role Description The Senior STEM Trainer/Mentor/Educator is a full-time, on-site role based in Belgaum. This role involves designing and delivering hands-on STEM lessons in areas such as robotics, coding, electronics, drones, and 3D printing for K–12 learners. The educator will mentor students individually and in groups, guide project work and competitions, and foster curiosity and problem-solving skills. Daily responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom instruction, assessment of student progress, and collaboration with school staff and STEMx team members to improve curriculum and teaching practices. The role also includes conducting workshops, supporting parent and school engagement activities, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.Qualifications Strong STEM teaching and facilitation skills, with experience in robotics, coding, electronics, drones, or 3D printing.Curriculum design and lesson planning capabilities, including developing project-based and experiential learning activities.Classroom management, mentoring, and coaching skills to support diverse K–12 learners in both individual and group settings.Communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with students, parents, school staff, and internal teams.Ability to use digital tools and educational technology platforms to enhance teaching and track learner progress.Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Education, or a related field; advanced qualifications or teaching certifications are an advantage.Prior experience in K–12 STEM education or training, preferably in robotics or coding programs.Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered pedagogy and a passion for making STEM engaging and accessible.
