Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Purpose:This role is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic and operational plans to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and federal government directives. The Senior Specialist focuses on performance monitoring, evaluation, and improvement, while assisting in future foresight and risk analysis, stakeholder coordination, and governance processes to enhance organizational decision-making and effectivenessMain Duties and Responsibilities:Core ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning and ImplementationAssists in drafting strategic and operational plans for the entity, ensuring alignment with the federal government's approved methodology.Supports the implementation of strategic and operational plans in collaboration with organizational units and the Prime Minister's Office.Contributes to the development and application of mechanisms for evaluating strategic plans, projects, and programs before, during, and after implementation.Performance Monitoring and ReportingMonitors progress toward achieving the strategic plan and develops performance reports for submission to organizational units and leadership.Proposes and tracks performance indicators to assess the impact of strategic objectives, in coordination with the Prime Minister's Office.Supports the development of performance improvement plans in collaboration with relevant units, based on evaluation outputs and results.Policy and Strategy AlignmentReviews policies, national strategies, and sectoral work agendas to ensure alignment with federal government requirements and directives.Provides input and recommendations for refining and updating policies and strategies to improve organizational performance.Future Foresight and Risk AnalysisApplies tools to support future foresight activities, including scenario planning and risk assessment.Assists in identifying strategic risks and opportunities and provides recommendations to enhance the entity's responsiveness and flexibility.Prepares reports on foresight and risk findings to support leadership in forward-looking decision-making.Stakeholder Coordination and PartnershipsSupports the development of communication and collaboration plans with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.Assists in managing relationships with strategic partners, including the preparation and review of memorandums of understanding.Self-Management ResponsibilitiesDefines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the Line Manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the year. Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the Line Manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended. Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency in all the competencies and skills required to perform the role. Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 6+ years of experience.Preferably, the candidate should have experience in partnership management.This role is open exclusively for UAE Nationals.
