Senior Structural Design Manager

Jasara Program Management Company (Jasara PMC) is a leading Joint Venture between Public Investment Fund (PIF), Jacobs, and Saudi Aramco, established to deliver world-class program management services across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Jasara plays a key role in supporting the realization of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in delivering giga-projects and large-scale infrastructure developments.We are seeking a Senior Structural Design Manager to join JASARA PMC. This role will lead and manage the structural design delivery of large-scale residential developments, ensuring designs meet project objectives, regulatory requirements, quality standards, budget constraints, and construction timelines. The role will oversee consultants, coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, and support the successful execution of residential communities within the project.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the structural design development for residential projects from concept through detailed design and construction supportManage and review the work of external design consultants and engineering partnersEnsure compliance with Saudi Building Code, international design standards, and project-specific requirementsCoordinate structural design activities with architecture, MEP, infrastructure, and other disciplinesReview and approve structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical submissionsIdentify design risks and implement mitigation measures to support project deliveryMonitor design progress against project schedules and budgetsProvide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and junior engineersSupport value engineering initiatives without compromising quality, safety, or performanceParticipate in design reviews, workshops, stakeholder meetings, and technical presentationsProvide construction-phase support, including RFI responses, design clarifications, and site issue resolutionRequirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred)Professional Engineering registration or chartership preferred (PE, CEng, ICE, or equivalent)Minimum 15 years of experience in structural design and engineeringAt least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing large residential or mixed-use developmentsStrong experience with reinforced concrete, steel structures, high-rise residential buildings, and residential communitiesExperience working with major developers, engineering consultancies, or giga projects is highly desirableTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, and similar toolsThorough understanding of Saudi and international design codes and standardsExperience managing multidisciplinary design coordinationExcellent stakeholder management and consultant management skillsStrong commercial awareness and value engineering experiencePreferred ExperienceLarge-scale residential master-planned communitiesMega and giga projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCCDesign management within developer organizationsExperience interfacing with authorities and regulatory bodies
