About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Designer to lead our structural engineering team.The ideal candidate must come from a consultancy background and have specific, proven experience in the design of educational facilities (Schools) . You will be responsible for leading the design of complex RCC and steel structures from concept through to detailed design and construction support.

Responsibilities

Lead the structural design of RCC and steel buildings from concept to detailed design.Perform structural analysis and modeling using ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000.Working knowledge of Revit (BIM modeling and coordination).Prepare and review design calculations, reports, and technical documentation.Develop concept, schematic, and detailed design solutions.Ensure compliance with ACI, BS, and local authority regulations.Design and model foundations, slabs, beams, columns, and lateral load systems.Perform dynamic structural analysis including response spectrum and time-history analysis for seismic and wind loading.Evaluate and design structures for lateral stability, drift control, and vibration performance.Apply seismic design principles in accordance with relevant codes (ACI, ASCE 7).Carry out design optimization for safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.Coordinate with architectural and MEP teams for design integration.Review shop drawings and technical submissions for design compliance (often expected).Provide technical support during design coordination and authority submissions.Lead, review, and guide junior engineers’ design work.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.Minimum 10–15 years of experience in structural design consultancy.Strong expertise in complex building structures (large-scale preferred).Proficient in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000.Strong knowledge of ACI, BS, and international design standards.Experience in full design cycle (concept to IFC).Ability to work independently and lead design packages.Client IntroductionIn this role, you will collaborate closely with one of our esteemed clients—a globally recognized leader in their industry, distinguished by their commitment to excellence, innovation, and delivering exceptional value.
