In this pivotal role, you will oversee structural engineering operations on-site for Building Project, ensuring the highest standards of design integrity, safety, and quality throughout project execution. You will serve as a technical leader, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders while managing complex structural challenges in a dynamic construction environment.Supervise and manage all structural and civil engineering activities on-site, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and applicable codes and standardsConduct detailed structural inspections, quality audits, and testing to verify workmanship and material complianceIdentify and analyze structural issues, implementing effective corrective measures to maintain project quality and schedulePrepare clear and comprehensive technical reports, documentation, and daily site records related to progress and findingsCoordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve design queries and site-related challengesReview and approve structural drawings, shop drawings, and construction methodologies prior to implementationEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements through regular site monitoring and auditsManage structural testing programs, including material testing, load testing, and non-destructive testing activitiesLead and mentor junior engineers and site teams, promoting technical excellence and continuous improvementMaintain organized project records, databases, and documentation using BIM and project management systemsCommunicate technical findings and recommendations to project management and stakeholders in a clear and professional mannerLead and supervise engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with specifications, budgets, and schedulesDevelop and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to support construction activitiesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective coordination and project deliveryImplement and maintain site safety protocols in line with regulatory and project requirementsResolve complex engineering challenges throughout the project lifecycle with practical and timely solutionsStay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable construction practicesQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)Minimum 10+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior site supervision role on large-scale building or infrastructure projectsStrong experience in structural design review, analysis, and site execution, with hands-on involvement during construction stages through to completionProven ability to manage and deliver complex projects including high-rise, commercial, mixed-use, or infrastructure developmentsIn-depth knowledge of international codes (ACI, BS, Eurocodes) and local authority regulations and approval processes across the UAESolid experience in reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, method statements, WIRs, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including MEP, architectural, and façadeProficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000 or equivalent, along with strong AutoCAD and BIM (Revit/Navisworks) capabilitiesStrong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, temporary works, and structural safety and complianceProven leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and coordinate engineering teams and interface effectively with Client, PMC, Contractor, and relevant AuthoritiesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with high attention to detailStrong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong report writing and stakeholder management capabilityFamiliarity with project management tools and software (MS Office, Primavera, etc.)Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and LEED is an advantageChartered Engineer or Professional Engineer certification preferred; PMP certification is an added advantagePrevious experience in the UAE or Middle East is highly preferredWillingness to work full-time on-site and adapt to project requirements and schedulesAdditional InformationThe role is site based.
