Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Simulation Engineer (FEA) to validate and optimize the structural performance of a next-generation aerial and marine vehicle platform.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess structural integrity under aerodynamic, ground, and water-operating loads.Simulate composite failure modes, including ply delamination, core crushing, and bonded joint failures.Conduct structural stress, fatigue, and crashworthiness assessments.Execute topology and weight optimization studies for metallic and composite components.Collaborate with design teams to improve performance while minimizing weight.Requirements5+ years of experience in aerospace, aircraft, eVTOL, or high-performance structural analysis.Expert knowledge of Ansys Mechanical and Ansys Composite PrepPost (ACP).Strong understanding of composite failure criteria, including Tsai-Wu, Hashin, and related methodologies.Experience with structural optimization techniques and lightweight design.Ability to interpret simulation results and provide practical design recommendations.We are seeking a talented Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to develop high-performance chassis components and precision mechanical systems for a next-generation aerial and marine vehicle platform.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign compact, ultra-lightweight wheel assemblies, steering systems, and hub integrations optimized for constrained packaging environments.Develop high-stress, high-precision tilting mechanisms for propulsion system transition and flight operations.Engineer structural mountings and mechanical hardware for testing and simulation platforms.Perform kinematic analysis and mechanical system optimization to maximize reliability, efficiency, and weight reduction.Collaborate with structural, simulation, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system integrationRequirements5+ years of experience in Formula 1, high-performance automotive, electric vehicles, aerospace, or eVTOL mechanical design.Strong expertise in mechanical mechanisms, linkages, kinematics, and lightweight structures.Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent).Advanced knowledge of aerospace aluminum alloys, titanium, and composite-integrated structures.Experience designing safety-critical, high-load mechanical systems
