Senior Student CounsellorJob Type: Full-TimeIndustry: Education Consultancy / Study AbroadLocation: SeeduwaAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Student Counsellor to join our team. The successful candidate will guide students who are planning to pursue higher education overseas and provide professional counselling throughout the university application and admission process.Key Responsibilities- Counsel students and parents regarding study-abroad opportunities and suitable destinations.- Understand students’ academic backgrounds, career goals, budgets, and preferences.- Recommend suitable universities, courses, and study destinations.- Handle student enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, social media, and face-to-face consultations.- Guide students through the university selection, application, admission, and offer-letter process.- Assist students with documentation and ensure applications are complete and accurate.- Coordinate with universities, international representatives, and internal teams.- Follow up with students and maintain strong relationships throughout the application journey.- Achieve individual and team student enrolment and sales targets.- Maintain accurate student records and update CRM/database systems.- Support and mentor junior counsellors when required.- Stay updated on changes in university admissions, courses, scholarships, and international education requirements.- Participate in education fairs, university events, seminars, and promotional activities.Requirements- Previous experience as a Student Counsellor / Education Counsellor / Study Abroad Counsellor.- Strong knowledge of international education destinations such as UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, South Korea, and Singapore.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Strong student counselling and customer-service skills.- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.- Ability to work with targets and meet deadlines.- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.- Good computer literacy and familiarity with CRM systems.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications- Diploma or Degree in Education, Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.- Previous experience in an education consultancy or overseas education company is highly preferred.- Experience handling university applications and international student admissions will be an added advantage.What We Offer- Competitive salary package.- Attractive performance-based incentives.- Career growth opportunities.- Professional training and development.- Exposure to international universities and education partners.- Friendly and professional working environment.- Opportunities to participate in university events and international education activities.How to ApplyInterested candidates are invited to submit their CV with a brief description of their relevant experience.Join our team and help students turn their international education dreams into reality!
