Applicants can expect to work with a friendly, well-experienced team that provides personalized, step-by-step guidance to learners pursuing their overseas study goals.Role Description The Senior Student Consultant – UK & Australia is a full-time, on-site role based in Colombo. This role involves guiding prospective students through the entire process of applying to universities in the UK and Australia, including initial counseling, program selection and application preparation. The consultant will advise on admission requirements, prerequisite examinations, financial planning and visa procedures, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. Daily tasks include conducting one-on-one consultations, responding to inquiries via phone and email, maintaining detailed student records and coordinating with international institutions and internal teams. The individual will also support marketing and outreach activities, participate in events and information sessions and help continuously improve service quality and processes.Qualifications Strong student advising and counseling skills, including experience guiding learners through overseas study options and application processes.Proficiency in university application support for UK and Australian institutions, including program selection, documentation review and timeline management.Knowledge of visa and immigration procedures for UK and Australia, with the ability to explain requirements clearly and support students through each step.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, handle sensitive informatio and work effectively with diverse backgrounds.Solid organizational and time-management skills, including attention to detail, record-keeping, and the ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.Experience in customer service or education consultancy, preferably in international higher education or a related field.Comfort with using office software and online platforms (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM or student management systems) to manage workflows and communication.Ability to work on-site in Colombo, collaborate with team members and contribute to outreach events and promotional activities.Prior experience focusing on UK or Australian higher education pathways is an advantage.
