EEVS offers end-to-end services, including student counseling, institution selection, visa application support, and post-arrival assistance. The team also helps students adapt to life abroad, especially in Australia, by providing settlement guidance and ongoing support under one comprehensive service model.Role Description The Senior Student Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte. This role involves guiding prospective students through their education options, assessing their academic and personal goals, and recommending suitable institutions and programs. The Senior Student Counsellor will manage the counseling process from initial inquiry to enrollment, including documentation guidance and coordination with internal visa and admissions teams. Daily tasks include conducting one-on-one consultations, delivering information sessions, maintaining accurate student records, and following up with applicants to ensure a smooth application and visa process. The role also requires mentoring junior counsellors, contributing to process improvements, and collaborating with global offices to stay updated on changing admission and visa requirements.Qualifications Strong student counseling and advisory skills, including the ability to assess educational goals and provide personalized guidance.Experience with international education pathways, particularly to Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Dubai.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with students, families, and institutional partners.Solid organizational and documentation skills, including managing multiple applications, maintaining records, and meeting deadlines.Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior colleagues.Proficiency in basic office software and comfort using CRM or student management systems.Prior experience in education consulting, student recruitment, or related fields is highly desirable.Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, Management, or a related discipline; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
