Unlike traditional logistics or freight management roles, this position sits at the intersection of supply chain operations, commercial finance, and margin management. You will play a pivotal role in driving the efficiency and profitability of their China business by managing product costing, pricing structures, mark-to-market analysis, and digitalizing operational reporting.Responsibilities:Product Costing & Contribution Margin Analysis: Conduct detailed product cost breakdowns (BOM, labor, overheads) and margin analyses to evaluate financial performance and drive strategic profitability.Export Pricing & Commercial Support: Analyze cost components and market dynamics to generate competitive, profitable export quotations for the sales team.Trade Operations & Inventory Reconciliation: Oversee trade execution, order fulfillment, and inventory position monitoring to minimize discrepancies and ensure operational accuracy.Risk & Financial Operations: Support FX hedging strategies and Mark-to-Market (MTM) analyses to mitigate currency exposure across cross-border operations.Digital Transformation & Analytics: Lead process automation initiatives using Power BI to build executive dashboards, streamline reporting, and reduce manual effort.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the key operational bridge between Singapore management, sales teams, and factory/subsidiary operations in China.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Food Science, or equivalent quantitative discipline.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Cost Accounting, Supply Chain Finance, Commercial Operations, or Trade Operations (preferably within complex, multinational, or manufacturing environments).Strong proficiency in Power BI (dashboard creation, DAX/Power Query) and advanced MS Excel. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin is required to liaise effectively with stakeholders, factories, and subsidiaries in China.Strong commercial acumen, numerical precision, and the ability to work independently while influencing cross-functional teams.
