Apply & track with Apply EdgePosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead supply chain strategy and execution within a technology manufacturing environment. This role will oversee supply and demand planning, inventory optimization, material availability, and operational performance to support customer commitments and business objectives.The ideal candidate combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational expertise and a proven ability to improve service levels, manage costs, and resolve complex supply chain challenges. This individual will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and external partners to translate business priorities into executable supply chain plans.Key ResponsibilitiesLead supply chain strategy and execution. Develop and implement strategies that align supply chain capabilities with business objectives, customer requirements, and financial targets. Establish priorities that balance product availability, cost, inventory, and operational risk.Manage demand, supply, and capacity planning. Lead sales and operations planning activities, aligning demand forecasts with material availability, supplier commitments, and manufacturing capacity. Identify supply gaps, evaluate alternatives, and drive decisions on production priorities and allocation.Optimize inventory and material availability. Establish inventory targets and replenishment strategies that support service requirements while controlling working capital. Improve inventory turns, reduce excess and obsolete materials, and resolve shortages that could affect production or customer deliveries.Drive supplier and manufacturing partner performance. Collaborate with Procurement and manufacturing partners to strengthen delivery reliability, capacity readiness, and responsiveness. Lead operational reviews, address performance gaps, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained.Support new product introductions and lifecycle transitions. Partner with Engineering, Product Management, and Manufacturing to ensure supply chain readiness for product launches, production ramps, engineering changes, and end-of-life transitions. Manage associated material exposure and continuity risks.Improve cost and operational performance. Identify and execute opportunities to reduce supply chain costs, shorten lead times, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve planning accuracy. Partner with Finance to evaluate cost drivers, assess trade-offs, and quantify improvement results.Manage risk and business continuity. Anticipate potential disruptions related to supply constraints, supplier dependencies, demand changes, and logistics challenges. Develop mitigation plans and lead cross-functional resolution of critical issues.Lead teams and communicate results. Develop supply chain talent, establish clear goals, and promote accountability and collaboration. Maintain performance dashboards and present actionable recommendations, risks, and recovery plans to senior leadership.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, manufacturing operations, materials management, or a related discipline.At least three years of leadership experience, including responsibility for team development, operational performance, and cross-functional initiatives.Demonstrated experience in demand and supply planning, inventory management, material requirements planning, and sales and operations planning.Proven ability to manage complex supply constraints and deliver measurable improvements in cost, delivery, inventory, or service performance.Experience working with enterprise resource planning systems and analytical tools, with the ability to translate operational and financial data into business decisions.Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including professional proficiency in English and the ability to influence across functions and regions.Preferred QualificationsExperience in electronics, enterprise hardware, networking equipment, or other complex technology manufacturing environments.Familiarity with contract manufacturing, global supplier networks, and product lifecycle management.Experience with SAP or comparable enterprise systems, advanced Excel, and business intelligence tools.Master’s degree or relevant certifications, such as APICS CPIM/CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP.Success in This RoleSuccess will be measured through improved delivery reliability, balanced inventory levels, fewer material shortages, stronger supplier performance, and measurable cost improvements. Equally important will be the ability to build a capable team, anticipate risks, and maintain alignment between supply chain execution and business priorities.
