Location: Laramie, WY or Orange County, CA, with regular travel to WyomingRelocation assistance availableIn-person roleWe're working with a fast-growing energy technology company that is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager to become the first dedicated supply chain hire on the team.This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked in a hardware startup or fast-paced engineering environment and wants to build a supply chain function rather than inherit an established one.You’ll work closely with engineering to take first-of-a-kind hardware from design through procurement and production, owning everything from long-lead sourcing and supplier strategy to cost-down initiatives and commercial negotiations.What they’re looking for:7+ years of supply chain or procurement experience within physical hardwareExperience with low-volume, custom or engineered-to-order componentsStrong strategic sourcing, RFQ and supplier negotiation experienceExperience taking hardware from prototype / NPI through productionComfortable working directly with engineering, including BOMs and technical drawingsExperience with long-lead procurement, supplier capacity and production planningStrong cost modeling, should-cost and cost-down experienceExperience negotiating supply agreements and commercial termsAerospace, defense, automotive, energy, heavy equipment or similar hardware backgrounds are highly relevantSomeone hands-on who is comfortable building processes, systems and supplier relationships from the ground upUnable to sponsor visas at this time.
