قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجSenior Survey Methodology ExpertNTU International is preparing a proposal for the EU-funded project “EU Assistance for the Uzbekistan AgriFood Development Strategy 2020–2030”, which aims to support the Government of Uzbekistan in the implementation of a sustainable, market-oriented, inclusive and climate-smart agri-food system. The project focuses on strengthening policy and regulatory frameworks, institutional capacities, and public sector governance in support of the Agri-Food Development Strategy 2020–2030.The Technical Assistance will support the development of reliable agricultural data systems, survey methodologies, and evidence-based analytical frameworks to improve policy planning, monitoring, and statistical governance in the agri-food sector in Uzbekistan.NTU International is seeking a Senior Survey Methodology Expert to support survey design, statistical methodologies, and agricultural data collection systems related to agri-food sector monitoring and policy implementation in Uzbekistan.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport development and implementation of agricultural survey methodologies and statistical data collection systems;Provide technical assistance on survey design, sampling methodologies, questionnaire development, and statistical quality assurance systems;Support development of methodologies for farm surveys, household surveys, agricultural censuses, and sector monitoring systems;Advise public institutions on survey planning, data validation, statistical standards, and digital data collection tools;Support integration of innovative survey techniques, GIS tools, and digital monitoring systems into agricultural statistics frameworks;Conduct analyses related to survey reliability, statistical consistency, and data quality management;Contribute to preparation of methodological guidelines, technical manuals, analytical reports, and statistical procedures;Coordinate with Ministries, National Statistical Offices, research institutions, and development partners;Deliver workshops, technical training, and capacity-building activities related to survey methodologies and statistical systems;Contribute to monitoring, reporting, and evaluation of agricultural data collection and statistical reform initiatives.EducationMaster’s degree in statistics, econometrics, mathematics, economics, agricultural economics, or another relevant field.General Professional ExperienceMinimum 10 years of professional experience in survey methodologies, statistical systems, data collection, or quantitative analysis;Proven experience working on agricultural, statistical, or public sector reform projects in developing or transition economies;Experience in international development cooperation and donor-funded programmes.Specific Professional ExperienceMinimum 7 years of experience in survey design, sampling methodologies, agricultural censuses, or statistical data collection systems;Demonstrated experience with household surveys, agricultural surveys, statistical quality control, or digital data collection methodologies;Experience related to GIS-supported surveys, remote data collection tools, farm registries, or agricultural monitoring systems is considered an advantage;Experience supporting projects financed by the EU, World Bank, FAO, IFAD, ADB, UN agencies, or other international financial institutions is considered a strong asset;Experience working with National Statistical Offices, Ministries, research institutions, or international organisations is considered an advantage;Experience in Central Asia, Eastern Europe, or post-Soviet countries is considered an asset.LanguagesEnglish (C1 mandatory);Working knowledge of Russian is considered a strong asset.Please note that inclusion in the expert pool does not guarantee immediate assignment.
