With world-class R&D labs and a flat, collaborative startup environment, we empower our team members to think differently, challenge the status quo, and build careers that span across industries.JOB SUMMARY:As a Senior System Administrator at our Bengaluru facility, you will take ownership of our core IT operations across endpoints, Windows Server environments, enterprise networking, and perimeter security. You will act as the primary operational anchor ensuring zero-downtime availability, robust endpoint compliance, and seamless cross-site connectivity for our mission engineering teams.In this role, you will bridge day-to-day user enablement with proactive infrastructure hardening. Your primary success metrics will center on network and server uptime (target 99.9%+), mean time to resolve (MTTR) for L1/L2 escalations, automated patch compliance, and firewall policy security audits.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Enterprise Server & Identity Administration: Maintain and tune Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and enterprise backup/restore operations to guarantee business continuity.Network & Connectivity Operations: Deploy, segment, and monitor LAN/WLAN environments, including VLAN configurations, switch/AP management, structured cabling, and IP space allocations.Perimeter & Network Security: Manage enterprise firewall policies, site-to-site and remote access VPN tunnels, IPS/IDS, URL filtering, log shipping to SIEM, and incident triage.Modern Endpoint Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of employee workstations—from imaging, provisioning, and patch deployment to endpoint compliance tracking and asset inventory.Threat Mitigation & Compliance: Administer EDR/XDR security agents, isolate endpoint threats, enforce IT security SOPs, and ensure audit readiness for data protection standards.Operational Excellence & Vendor Management: Drive L1/L2 incident resolution, maintain exhaustive system architecture diagrams and SOPs, and manage IT vendor contracts, warranty claims, and escalations.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR?Experience: 4–7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise systems administration, network engineering, or infrastructure support.Systems & Directory Services: Deep expertise in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory design/maintenance, Group Policy (GPO), and enterprise backup and disaster recovery tools.Core Networking: Strong grasp of TCP/IP networking, subnetting, VLAN segmentation, routing/switching fundamentals, and wireless infrastructure (WLAN).Firewall & Security Administration: Proven track record configuring and auditing enterprise firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Sophos), site-to-site IPsec/SSL VPNs, and endpoint protection suites (EDR/XDR).Endpoint & Productivity Suites: Practical administration of Microsoft 365 / Entra ID (Azure AD), automated software deployment tools, and disk imaging systems.NICE-TO-HAVES:Relevant industry certifications: CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, or vendor firewall certifications (e.g., NSE 4).Experience administering virtualized environments (VMware vSphere / Microsoft Hyper-V).Prior experience supporting high-security manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or hardware engineering facilities.Exposure to SIEM log ingestion, centralized syslog servers, or network monitoring tools (PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios).
