You will be responsible for the overall systems engineering approach, design development, verification and validation activities, and the effective coordination of technical teams and project interfaces.Attention, due to the very nature of this EU-project and its security-related activities, only European citizens' applications can be presented to our institutional client for this service.Tasks and activitiesThe scope of work will include:Contribute to system design, architecture, development, integration, verification and validation for naval ships.Establis and maintain the project verification and validation framework.Assess design against requirements; document system decomposition.Maintain the project design dossier, ensuring consistency, traceability and alignment with programme requirements.Support negotiations and change proposals.Skills and experienceThe following skills and experience are mandatory:Technical academic degree (WO/Master’s level) in Engineering, Physics, Aeronautics Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent qualifications and experience.Additional training or certification in Systems Engineering.At least 7 years of experience in systems engineering and the design, development and integration of complex systems.Proficient in PDM (or PLM), MBSE tools, and interdisciplinary collaboration.Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.To be fluent in both English and Dutch is mandatory, both written and spoken.The following skills and experience are assets:Naval or maritime sectors experience.Requirement management in engineering projects using Doors or similar tool.Why should you apply?You will have the opportunity to work within leading a Engineering service delivery company present all over Europe, and counting an varied and exciting project and client portfolio in niche sectors like Space, Defence, Cybersecurity, Science, etc.We encourage everyone to think outside the box and to push the boundaries of traditional knowledge.
