Job Description – Resident Systems EngineerExperience: 1–3 YearsLocation: Riyadh (Al Malqa), Saudi ArabiaPosition: Resident Systems Engineer – Managed ServicesJob SummaryWe are looking for a Resident Systems Engineer to provide onsite IT infrastructure and endpoint management support at one of our managed services customers. The role will have a strong focus on Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, patch management, Windows Server, Active Directory, backup, and Hyper-V.Key Responsibilities• Manage and support Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, configuration policies, compliance policies, application deployment, and endpoint management.• Perform Windows and third-party application patching using patch management tools and ensure required updates are deployed successfully.• Monitor patch compliance, identify non-compliant devices, troubleshoot failed deployments, and take corrective action.• Prepare and maintain patching schedules for servers and endpoints in coordination with the customer.• Monitor endpoint health, compliance, and security status through Intune and related management tools.• Administer Active Directory, including users, groups, GPOs, and permissions.• Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Servers and endpoints.• Monitor and troubleshoot backup jobs and assist with backup restoration when required.• Support Hyper-V virtual machines and basic virtualization administration.• Troubleshoot basic DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and network connectivity issues.• Support Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID as required.• Maintain IT asset records, system documentation, and ticket updates.• Coordinate with the L2/L3 engineering team for complex technical issues.• Follow customer IT policies, security requirements, and agreed SLA procedures.Required SkillsStrong practical knowledge of:• Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management• Patch Management & Patch Compliance• Windows administration• Windows Server• Active Directory & Group Policy• Backup & Restore• Hyper-V• Microsoft 365 / Entra ID• Basic DNS, DHCP & TCP/IP• Basic PowerShellAdvantage: Experience with Veeam, Microsoft Defender, RMM/ITSM, or other endpoint management and patch management tools.Qualifications• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.• 1–3 years of practical experience in systems administration, endpoint management, or IT infrastructure support.• Good troubleshooting and communication skills.• Customer-focused and able to work independently at the customer site.
