Senior Systems EngineerFull-Time | Hybrid | MassachusettsI’m hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to join the rapidly growing electrophysiology R&D team of a global medical device leader developing next-generation technologies for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.This is an opportunity to work within a fast-moving, highly innovative team that operates with the feel of a start-up, but with the resources and infrastructure of a major MedTech organisation. The wider EP division has experienced significant growth over the past two years, creating substantial investment in new technology, products and engineering talent.You’ll play a key role in the development of an advanced cardiac mapping platform, helping integrate new catheter technologies, hardware, software and algorithms into a complete clinical system. Rather than being a coding position, this role sits at the intersection of systems, software, hardware and clinical application, translating user needs into technical requirements and helping drive products from development through verification and release.You’ll work closely with software, electrical, mechanical, clinical and marketing teams, with exposure to complex Class II/III medical technologies and the opportunity to influence products used directly within electrophysiology procedures.Key experience:Systems engineering experience within medical devices or similarly complex regulated technology.Strong MATLAB experience, ideally involving algorithms or signal processing.Requirements development, decomposition, traceability and system-level V&V.Understanding of software development lifecycles; IEC 62304 experience highly desirable.Experience with system safety/testing, ideally including IEC 60601-1 and EMC.Comfortable working across multidisciplinary hardware/software teams in an Agile environment.EP/cardiology experience is advantageous, but adjacent imaging, signal-processing or other complex medical systems experience is highly relevant.If you've read this far and this sounds like you, click apply, or you can email your resume directly to me - Lokesh.Parmar@metric-search.com
