The organization has a strong track record implementing core systems for major stock exchanges, banks, healthcare institutions, and government projects across Asia.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior System Engineer role based in Taipei. The Senior System Engineer will design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructures, including servers, storage, networks, and related systems to support enterprise clients. Daily responsibilities include system configuration, performance tuning, and monitoring to ensure reliability, security, and scalability. The role also involves troubleshooting incidents, providing advanced technical support, and coordinating with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and integration projects. The Senior System Engineer will document architectures and procedures, contribute to technology evaluations, and mentor junior engineers to uphold best practices in system engineering.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills for planning, deploying, and optimizing complex infrastructures.Candidates should possess solid System Administration skills, including server configuration, patch management, and performance monitoring.Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve system, network, and application issues.Candidates should possess experience with enterprise operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows Server) and virtualization or cloud platforms.Candidates should possess knowledge of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and high-availability architectures.Candidates should possess strong documentation, communication, and collaboration abilities to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CCIE, MCSE, MCSA, RHCE, VMware) are highly beneficial.Experience in large-scale system integration projects or mission-critical environments (finance, healthcare, or government) is an advantage.
