This role offers a chance to manage critical infrastructure and collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure seamless operations across a demanding legal and financial technology landscape.Role OverviewThe Systems Administrator is a senior-level technical expert responsible for maintaining and optimizing the organization’s Microsoft-based infrastructure, supporting end-user technology, and ensuring operational integrity. This role involves escalated troubleshooting, endpoint management, identity and access control, software deployment, and light infrastructure support within a high-availability environment.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a senior escalation point for complex workstation, application, system, and infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution.Administer and configure Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory, managing user accounts, permissions, groups, and access controls.Manage Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, configuration, application packaging, deployment, policy enforcement, and endpoint imaging/provisioning.Support Active Directory, Group Policy, and related identity management services, including account creation, permission management, and security policies.Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online, managing mailboxes, distribution groups, permissions, and email client configurations.Package, test, and deploy software applications across Windows environments, maintaining application lifecycle and deployment consistency.Oversee Windows Server administration, including patching, permissions management, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.Support virtualized environments and related technologies, including VMware, to ensure scalability and high availability.Perform operational monitoring, perform routine maintenance, and proactively manage endpoints, servers, and core systems.Troubleshoot complex issues involving Windows OS, networking, authentication protocols, applications, and system performance.Partner with infrastructure and security teams on system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments.Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, configuration procedures, and system inventories.Support legal technology platforms such as document management, review, and imaging tools (e.g., iManage, Litera, Kofax, Adobe Acrobat).Utilize remote management tools, including NinjaOne, for proactive system oversight and support.Core Qualifications & Requirements10+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, or senior-level IT support within a legal, corporate, or professional services setting.Extensive hands-on expertise with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD, Intune, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online.Proven experience with application packaging, software deployment, endpoint management, and Windows imaging/provisioning.Solid understanding of Windows Server administration, including patching, permissions, and virtualization technologies like VMware.Advanced troubleshooting skills across endpoints, systems, networks, and applications.Experience supporting highly available, client-focused IT environments.Familiarity with legal technology platforms (iManage, Litera, Kofax, Adobe Acrobat) is a plus.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with support and infrastructure teams.Nice-to-Have QualificationsExperience with remote monitoring and management tools such as NinjaOne.Prior law firm or professional services firm experience demonstrating familiarity with legal workflows.Stable employment history indicating good tenure and career progression.Core Technical SkillsMicrosoft Entra ID / Azure AD / Azure Active DirectoryMicrosoft Intune / Endpoint management / Application deploymentActive Directory & Group PolicyMicrosoft 365 / Exchange Online / Email managementWindows Server / Virtualization (VMware)Application packaging and Windows imagingNetwork troubleshooting and infrastructure supportRemote management tools (NinjaOne)Legal tech platforms support (iManage, Litera, Kofax, Adobe Acrobat)Career ImpactJoin a high-caliber organization where your expertise ensures the stability, security, and efficiency of mission-critical legal and professional services technology.Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experience, up to $110,000 annually, with potential for bonus and benefits.Apply Today!Take the next step in your IT career by applying now to be part of an innovative, growth-oriented environment.The Phoenix Group Advisors is an equal opportunity employer.
