This involves ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance infrastructure solutions, managing cloud architecture, system configuration, automation, and performance monitoring across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS environments. The role also includes supporting compliance through audits, reviews, and true-up exercises, proactive capacity planning, incident root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures. Leads automation of operational tasks, contributes to IT infrastructure modernization, troubleshoots issues, develops automation scripts, collaborates with IT teams, and may assist in cloud migration planning and infrastructure-as-code implementation. Maintaining system reliability, optimizing resource use, and supporting ENEC’s strategic goals and digital transformation.IT Infrastructure Responsibilities and Accountabilities: • Lead the design and technical implementation of infrastructure and Cloud projects, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.• Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance flexibility, availability, and cost-effectiveness of IT infrastructure.• Provide expert guidance on infrastructure & Cloud operations, upgrades, and best practices.• Plan, schedule, and implement maintenance activities and approved infrastructure & Cloud changes to ensure system reliability.• Leverage automation and management tools to monitor system performance and streamline infrastructure & Cloud operations.• Investigate and resolve operational issues, providing improvement recommendations to stakeholders and management.• Support virtual server lifecycle management, cloud architecture design, and infrastructure optimization.• Define technical requirements, system topology, and infrastructure architecture to align with business needs.• Evaluate vendor solutions and designs to ensure technical compliance and alignment with organizational standards.• Develop and manage infrastructure and Cloud budgets, covering modernization, operations, and maintenance initiatives.• Provide guidance on cloud architecture, design, and migration (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), with a focus on virtualization and hybrid environments.• Maintain infrastructure Application system and Cloud journey roadmaps and ensure alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.• Enforce change and incident management processes, ensuring proper escalation and resolution.• Maintain accurate infrastructure Application and Cloud documentation, including SOPs, technical designs, and "as-built" records.• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), system health, incidents, and outages to senior management.• Ensure seamless transition of infrastructure solutions to operations with full documentation and support readinessMonitoring and Reporting for Governance OversightResponsibilities and Accountabilities:• Maintain a governance framework for infrastructure Application & Cloud environments that addresses specific risks and aligns with organizational objectives.• Lead regular governance reviews of technical infrastructure application & Cloud, integrating emerging security threats and industry best practices.• Support the creation and enforcement of information security policies, ensuring infrastructure application and Cloud conforms to architectural guidelines and risk mitigation strategies.• Coordinate risk management activities across infrastructure & Cloud, identifying enterprise risks and driving effective mitigation plans.• Monitor and analyze infrastructure application and Cloud alerts and events to ensure prompt incident detection, investigation, and resolution.• Manage availability and capacity of critical infrastructure services and Cloud to meet agreed service levels and performance goals.• Continuously evaluate and improve the control environment, leading corrective actions to enhance infrastructure security and operational resilience.• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, security standards, and corporate governance across all Infrastructure and Cloud domains.• Maintain and review control assessment processes to uphold standards and measure effectiveness consistentlyCloud & Infrastructure Lifecycle ManagementResponsibilities and Accountabilities: • Lead the installation and decommissioning of hardware and software systems, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.• Manage project timelines and installation targets, coordinating activities and overseeing smooth handovers to clients or operations teams.• Perform thorough testing of systems using established procedures and diagnostic tools to verify functionality.• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, collaborating with team members and external experts as needed.• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all setup and decommissioning activities, updating configuration management records accordingly.• Develop and implement standardized installation procedures, schedules, and best practices to enhance efficiency.• Mentor and guide operation team members, promoting resource optimization and continuous improvement in installation workflows.Incident Management and Problem managementResponsibilities and Accountabilities: • Ensure incidents are managed promptly and in accordance with established procedures.• Prioritize, diagnose, and investigate incidents to identify root causes; escalate unresolved issues appropriately.• Facilitate recovery and document the resolution before formally closing incidents.• Contribute to testing and refining incident management processes for continuous improvement.• Initiate and track investigations into underlying problems affecting systems, processes, or services.• Identify and recommend effective fixes and preventive measures for recurring problems.• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement agreed-upon solutions and preventative actions.• Analyze incident and problem trends to enhance management processes and reduce future risks.Technical Leadership and Project ManagementResponsibilities and Accountabilities: • Serve as Technical Lead and Subject Matter Expert for infrastructure projects (on-premises and cloud), managing plans, resources, scope, risks, and quality to ensure successful delivery.• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to design and implement technology solutions aligned with business goals, including capacity, availability, and continuity planning.• Define migration strategies and high-level plans to transition infrastructure application system & Cloud, ensuring scalability, security, compliance, and alignment with budgeting cycles.• Partner with product managers and enterprise architects to build agile, scalable, and resilient infrastructure supporting product lifecycles.• Stay informed on emerging technologies, recommend improvements, and ensure smooth handover to operations with proper documentation and training.• Communicate clearly all technical related with stakeholders, manage expectations, and document project insights for continuous improvement.• Facilitate design workshops and reviews to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements and architectural standards. Education Qualification and ExperienceMin - • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a field closely related to these subjects is required.• 5 years relevant experience is required.Preferred - • Master’s Degree in ICT, project management or business administrationCertification - • Cloud Technologies ( such as Azure).• Cloud Automation (CloudFormation Templates, ARM Templates).• Identity & Federation Services.• Scripting Languages (PowerShell, Python, Shell, etc).• Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Server (OS).• DNS / DHCP / Group Policy.• Professional certifications in system architecture or cloud architecture such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect are desirable.• Certification from Microsoft (MCSE).• ITIL v4 Certification.• VMware Certified Professional – Cloud Management and Automation.• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, or Azure Solutions Architect.
