With eight design studios spread around the world, chances are you’ve seen our work before.We work across architecture, landscape architecture, interior design and urban design - a rich multi-disciplinary mix of skills and perspectives that unlocks the economic, social and cultural value of projects.We combine our creative design expertise with capabilities in strategy, research, technology and experience design, and we regularly collaborate with experts and partners from further afield.Through our work, we're trying to build a more inclusive, sustainable future for communities - and create a more socially and ecologically resilient world.We're looking for an experienced Senior Technical Architect to join our Brisbane studio this is an opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical challenges of architecture — developing detailed design solutions, resolving complex building interfaces and ensuring ambitious design ideas translate into well-coordinated, buildable outcomes.You'll work alongside experienced architects, designers and technical specialists in a large multidisciplinary team, contributing to a project that will have a lasting impact on the community.About the roleYou'll play a key role in the technical development and documentation of the project, bringing strong architectural knowledge, advanced Revit capability and experience delivering large, complex buildings.Your responsibilities will include:Leading the technical development and documentation of architectural packages.Developing detailed architectural solutions that maintain design intent while addressing construction requirements.Producing and reviewing high-quality architectural documentation using Revit.Coordinating architectural information with structural, building services and specialist consultants.Identifying and resolving complex technical and documentation challenges.Working closely with project leaders and multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated project delivery.Supporting the development of less experienced team members through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.About youWe're interested in experienced Architects and architectural technical specialists who enjoy the detail and complexity of bringing major buildings to life.You'll ideally bring:Extensive experience in architectural technical design, documentation and project delivery.Advanced Revit skills, with recent hands-on experience on large projects.Experience delivering complex buildings such as hospitals, airports, transport infrastructure, stadiums, laboratories or major commercial developments.Strong architectural detailing and construction knowledge.Experience coordinating technical documentation across multiple disciplines.Confidence taking ownership of complex architectural packages.A collaborative approach and strong problem-solving skills.You may currently be working as a Senior Architect, Project Architect, Technical Architect or in another technically focused architectural role.We're more interested in your technical capability and the complexity of projects you've delivered than your current job title.Why Hassell?Our team enjoys a wide range of benefits to support their development and well-being:Paid parental leave for both primary and secondary carers.A progressive flexible work policy that allows hybrid work, location flexibility and work pattern flexibilityInter-studio transfer opportunitiesWellbeing benefitsDevelopment and training opportunities, including access to online training programs and our People Coach program.Study assistance.Hassell is an inclusive, equal opportunity employer that celebrates diversity.
