Senior Technical Design

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Designer – Interior Design to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in technical design development, detailed drawings, interior fit-out documentation, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design intent is accurately translated into practical, buildable solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed technical drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and construction documentation for interior design projects.Prepare and review detailed joinery drawings, bespoke furniture details, and interior fit-out drawings.Translate design concepts and design intent into accurate, technically feasible, and construction-ready drawings.Coordinate interior design drawings with architectural, structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.Review drawings for technical accuracy, constructability, compliance, and adherence to project specifications and standards.Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams to resolve technical issues and design discrepancies.Review and incorporate comments from clients, consultants, and site teams, ensuring timely drawing revisions.Ensure appropriate selection and detailing of materials, finishes, fixtures, and interior design components.Conduct site visits, where required, to verify dimensions, assess site conditions, and address technical challenges.Maintain drawing registers, revision records, and technical documentation while ensuring timely delivery of design packages.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.Strong experience in technical interior design, interior fit-out, and construction documentation.Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, BIM, or other relevant design software is an advantage.Good understanding of joinery detailing, construction methods, materials, finishes, and technical specifications.Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to technical quality.
