Apply & track with Apply EdgeJOB OBJECTIVEDeliver formal, theoretical, regulatory, and technical training to AMMROC personnel and customers. Contribute to the continuous development and enhancement of training materials in alignment with departmental objectives and regulatory standards.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESLeadership & ManagementManage the effective delivery of assigned training programs as directed by the Head of Technical Training, in line with approved schedules.Ensure the availability and readiness of training resources, including aids, documentation, and materials.Project ManagementPrepare and submit timely feedback, progress updates, and management reports.Coordinate with Technical Training Department (TTD) staff to ensure efficient logistical preparation.Review, verify, and maintain training materials and documentation required for course delivery.Technical ExpertiseDeliver training sessions safely, effectively, and in compliance with applicable standards.Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and supporting documentation as required.Develop and apply case studies, practical exercises, and learning scenarios to reinforce key concepts.Contribute to the design and development of both classroom and computer-based training materials.Monitor trainee attendance, engagement, and performance; provide timely feedback and support.Maintain accurate training records and documentation.Support internal and external validation and audit processes.Communication & CollaborationProvide regular updates on course progress and trainee outcomes to the Project Manager – Technical Training and Head of Technical Training.Liaise and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders to ensure training relevance and effectiveness.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIESQualifications, Knowledge & ExperienceRelevant, endorsed, and authenticated certifications in training delivery (e.g., Method of Instruction Course, Postgraduate Certificate in Education, or military instructor course approved by ACTVET).Proven knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a minimum of 10 years of aircraft maintenance experience.Valid civilian aircraft maintenance license or certificate (e.g., Mechanical A&P, B1/B2 Avionics) and/or equivalent military aircraft trade certification.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical training role, with a strong understanding of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) model.English Language ProficiencyNative English speaker, or IELTS score of 6.5 or higher, or AMMROC ELPT score above 75%.Professional SkillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and iSpring Suite.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong planning, organization, and integration capabilities.Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending, stretching, and crouching.Ability to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.Core CompetenciesStrategic ThinkingDrive for ExcellenceCustomer OrientationTeamwork & CollaborationCredibility BuildingAdaptability
