This is a high-impact, strategic role for someone who combines deep hands-on engineering expertise with the ability to think several steps ahead of where the industry is heading.Key Responsibilities:Architect and lead the technical vision for agentic AI systems supporting clinical operations data platformsDefine and build core platform capabilities that accelerate development and execution across projectsApply modern software architecture principles — reimagined for a world shaped by autonomous, multi-agent systemsEstablish best practices, design patterns, and engineering standards for agentic AI developmentPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical architectureStay ahead of industry trends in agentic AI, LLM orchestration, and autonomous systems, and translate emerging capabilities into practical platform improvementsMentor engineering teams and elevate technical rigor across the organizationDrive architectural decisions that balance innovation with the reliability, security, and compliance demands of clinical operations dataRequired Qualifications8+ years of experience in software engineering, with demonstrated depth in modern software architecture (distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native design, API design, data platforms)Strong, hands-on expertise in Agentic AI engineering — building, deploying, and scaling autonomous or multi-agent systemsProven ability to think strategically and translate ambiguous problems into a clear technical roadmapTrack record of defining platform-level capabilities (not just feature-level solutions) that accelerate teamsFamiliarity with LLM frameworks, orchestration tools, and agentic design patterns (e.g., tool use, planning/reasoning loops, multi-agent coordination, RAG architectures)Experience working with healthcare, life sciences, or clinical operations data a strong plusExcellent communication skills — able to influence technical direction across engineering, product, and leadershipGenuine passion for staying current with the fast-evolving agentic AI landscapeWhy Join UsJoin a Gartner-recognized Responsible AI company at the forefront of enterprise GenAI adoption, with the opportunity to work on cutting-edge agentic AI systems alongside a team connected to leading AI ventures like Amelia.ai.
