This program represents a significant expansion of our product portfolio, complementing our existing offerings and integrating seamlessly with our digital planning and indirect bonding capabilities. The role requires exceptional program management skills to navigate an extremely complex technical path, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery across hardware, software, and manufacturing domains.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead and drive a strategic product program through its entire lifecycle, managing complex technical integration within LightForce's personalized orthodontics systemDevelop comprehensive program plans with clear milestones, dependencies, and critical paths, balancing technical complexity with business objectivesCoordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, manufacturing, and clinical affairs to ensure alignment and successful executionIdentify, track, and mitigate program risks, developing contingency plans for the most complex technical challengesLead weekly program updates and status reports for executive leadership and key stakeholdersManage resource allocation across multiple workstreams, ensuring optimal team composition to address technical complexitiesEstablish and maintain program governance, including decision-making frameworks, change management processes, and escalation pathsDrive continuous process improvement within the program and across the organizationBalance competing priorities and make data-driven decisions to keep the program on trackProvide technical leadership on complex manufacturing, material science, and digital workflow integration challengesEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; Master's degree preferred5+ years of technical program management experienceDemonstrated experience managing programs with significant technical complexity and interdependenciesTrack record of successful program delivery at scale with significant technical componentsRequired QualificationsExpert-level program management skills with ability to lead complex technical initiatives from concept to launchDeep understanding of hardware/software development lifecycles and manufacturing processesExcellence in stakeholder management with strong written and verbal communication skillsProven experience managing risks and dependencies in technically complex environmentsExceptional problem-solving skills with ability to navigate ambiguityStrong leadership presence with ability to influence without direct authorityPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of 3D printing technologies and workflowsExperience with material science and advanced manufacturing technologiesExperience leading transformative or first-of-its-kind programsKnowledge of design controls and quality system requirements for medical devicesPhysical DemandsMay require occasional travel to manufacturing facilities and partner locationsPrimarily office-based work with standard physical demands of an office environmentPerks and Benefits (US Employees Only)Unlimited PTO for exempt employees10 paid holidays per yearGenerous premium coverage for medical, dental, and vision plansGroup plan voluntary life insuranceFringe benefits401k retirement planPaid parental leaveAllowances for those in commercial sales positionsWorkplace perks such as food/coffeeTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
