Technical Program Manager / Head of Programs – Humanoid Robotics | MunichUp to €170,000 base + 20% bonus + VSOP | OnsiteHave you taken complex moving hardware to 10,000+ units a year, and want to do it again on a humanoid robot?AI Futures is partnering with a well-funded Munich humanoid robotics start-up building a general-purpose robot for physical labour in real-world environments. The robot is walking. Now they need the person who takes it from development builds into reliable, high-volume production. This isn't a role for keeping a Gantt chart tidy. You'll own the programme across EVT (~50 units), DVT (~100) and PVT (~500), on the path to mass production at 10,000+ units a year. You'll work directly with the founders, the Head of Product, and mechanical, electrical, controls, software and AI leadership. What you'll doOwn execution across the stage gates: resources, schedule, builds, tests, gate evidence and go/no-go decisions.Run a rigorous development process (APQP/PPAP, VDA or EVT/DVT/PVT) adapted to a fast-moving start-up.Challenge drawings, materials, tolerances and manufacturability with credible technical opinions.Own durability and reliability validation, from mechanical and electronic testing to life testing and environmental exposure.Manage suppliers from qualification through DFM/DFA, tooling and ramp.Control BOM cost, target costing and engineering change. What you'll bring7+ years in programme management or engineering leadership on complex physical products, with at least one product taken into production at 10,000+ units a year.A formal, rigorous process background from automotive, consumer electronics, motorbikes, power tools or outdoor hardware.Durability and reliability engineering, supplier management, and breadth across motors, actuators, gearboxes, bearings and mechatronics. An engineering degree and the confidence to drive decisions, not just report on them.Robotics experience is a bonus, not a requirement. Start-up exposure after a large-corporate programme career is ideal. Why this roleShape how a humanoid robot gets industrialised, from the first builds to mass production.Flexible seniorityBuild out the programme function, adding two or three project managers as the company scales.Munich onsite, with a competitive base, a 20% bonus and VSOP equity.
