The role will be responsible for establishing effective project management practices, managing project portfolios, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery, and aligning project execution with the organization’s strategic objectives.The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, project management, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and innovation-driven AI environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Development OperationsCoordinate daily activities and support the overall management of the development team’s operations. Lead and oversee multiple AI and technology projects from initiation to successful completion. Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, budgets, scope, and quality standards. Establish and maintain effective project management processes, workflows, and best practices across AI Labs. Monitor, track, and report adherence to project processes and workflows as defined by management. Agile Project ManagementSupport and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and other relevant meetings. Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, effective communication, and timely delivery. Maintain and update task management and project tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms to ensure accurate tracking of tasks and deliverables. Project Planning & ReportingAssist in preparing and maintaining project timelines, milestones, project plans, and progress reports for internal and external stakeholders. Prepare and maintain utilization, capacity, and performance reports at defined intervals. Monitor project progress, deliverables, dependencies, and overall performance. Provide regular project status updates and performance reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders. Risk & Issue ManagementIdentify, monitor, and manage project risks, dependencies, blockers, and potential issues. Escalate risks, blockers, and deviations from the approved project scope or timeline to senior management in a timely manner. Support the implementation of appropriate corrective and preventive actions to ensure projects remain on track. Leadership & Team CollaborationLead, mentor, and support project managers and cross-functional project teams. Coordinate efforts across multiple teams to ensure effective collaboration, alignment, and timely delivery. Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous improvement, and high performance. Ensure effective communication between AI, Machine Learning, Engineering, Data Science, Product, and other relevant teams. Stakeholder ManagementAct as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, challenges, and key decisions. Communicate project updates, timelines, and potential issues clearly and effectively. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand expectations and ensure successful project delivery. Strategic & Process ImprovementEnsure AI and technology projects are aligned with the strategic objectives of AI Labs and IronOne LLC. Identify opportunities to improve project delivery efficiency, processes, workflows, and organizational performance. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices across the organization.Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent is preferred. 8+ years of experience in project management, with experience managing complex technology, software, AI, or data-related projects. Proven experience in leading project teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and/or Waterfall. Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams. Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Ability to manage projects in a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovation-driven environment.
