You will lead cross-functional teams, own complex delivery roadmaps, and ensure booking, pricing, availability, and revenue-management systems integrate cleanly and go live on time. The role works simultaneously with multiple airline customers, external solution providers, GDS partners, and internal engineering teams, and is accountable for delivery quality, budget, and stakeholder confidence across every engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of airline reservation and revenue-management projects — from scoping, estimation, and planning through build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.Manage multiple customer engagements in parallel, keeping requirements, timelines, resourcing, and deliverables aligned across each without letting one starve another.Coordinate with third-party solution providers, GDS partners, and technology vendors to ensure smooth integration, clear ownership of interfaces, and enforceable delivery commitments.Oversee system migrations, API integrations, EDIFACT/NDC message flows, and platform enhancements, including cutover planning, data reconciliation, and rollback readiness.Drive risk management, change control, and stakeholder communication across diverse airline environments; maintain a live risk register and a formal change-impact process.Ensure compliance with industry standards (IATA, PADIS, NDC) and internal quality frameworks, planning certification and testing time into every roadmap.Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements for engineering and product teams, and arbitrate when business and engineering disagree on intent.Monitor KPIs, project budgets, and delivery performance; report clearly to senior stakeholders and drive continuous improvement in delivery practice.Required Technical SkillsHands-on delivery experience with airline reservation systems, PSS, GDS connectivity, revenue management, or inventory control platforms is required — not adjacent travel-industry exposure.Working knowledge of EDIFACT and NDC message flows, API-based integrations, and large-system migration approaches at a level that lets you hold technical conversations with engineers and vendors.Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and technical delivery processes, with the judgement to choose and blend models per engagement.Proven vendor and partner management, including GDS partners and external technology providers, with experience structuring governance across three or more parties.Structured risk, change-control, and budget management across multi-stakeholder programmes, using leading indicators rather than end-of-phase surprises.Familiarity with IATA, PADIS, and NDC standards and how they shape scope, certification, and timelines.PMP, PRINCE2, or a recognised Agile certification is a plus.Candidate Profile8+ years of project management experience, including large enterprise or multi-stakeholder programmes with fixed regulatory or seasonal deadlines.Proven ability to manage multiple customers and vendors concurrently without losing delivery quality or stakeholder trust.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills at senior and executive level; delivers bad news early, with options and a recommendation.Comfortable operating in fast-moving airline environments where priorities shift and standards are non-negotiable.
